Testing arrangements for Hackney Carriages and private hire vehicles from 1 April 2016

After 31 March 2016, fees for compliance check tests and re tests will no longer be accepted by the Licensing Section. Proprietors must arrange their tests/re tests and pay test fees directly to the council’s Approved Examiner at the council’s garage at Tir y Berth. Taxi drivers are advised that when presenting their vehicles for inspection, they must firstly report to the Fleet Management Section and park in the designated MOT parking bays (see plan below)
