Standing Orders for Contracts

The Standing Orders for Contracts set out how contracts for all supplies, services and works will be made by or on behalf of the council. The purpose of the Standing Orders is to promote good procurement practice, public accountability and deter corruption.

Our Standing Orders for Contracts also follow the EC Procurement regulation frameworks, which require all service and supply contracts over the value of £189,330 and all works contracts over £4,733,252 to be advertised in the Official Journal for the European Union (OJEU).
