The deadline is looming for participants to register their place for the Caerphilly Challenge Series 2017, which takes place on Saturday 6th May.

Beginners, seasoned walkers and runners alike are invited to take part in the toughest Challenge Series yet, with a variety of routes including a 22 mile self-led challenge, an 11 mile challenge or a 1-5 mile walk.

‘The Wild Boar’ 22 mile self-led route will be the toughest challenge yet, which participants can walk, jog or run. The route will travel through spectacular valleys, woodland, farmland, hilltops and along rivers across Caerphilly county borough.

Entry for the 22 mile, 14 mile and 11 mile challenges costs £10, with a discount for participants age 18 and under. Entries are not permitted on the day for these challenges.

Registration for the 22 mile, 14 mile and 11 mile routes will close on 26th April, with no entries accepted after this date.

1-5 mile led walks can be entered on the day and provide the perfect opportunity for participants to take in the beautiful scenery through Caerphilly county borough’s beautiful countryside, while taking part in a leisurely stroll. There is no minimum age for the shorter challenges and are subject to a £2 entry fee.
