Caerphilly county borough council has received a positive annual ‘health check’ from Wales Audit Office (WAO) as part of a major review into the way the local authority is run.
Pupils from Lewis School Pengam did their bit to spruce up their local environment on Friday 25 November.
The sun shone in Bargoed and Risca on Saturday (26th November) as visitors turned out in great numbers to enjoy the annual Bargoed and Risca Christmas Markets. Visitors of all ages enjoyed a range of Christmas activities in both town centres, with street entertainment, festive stalls and much more on offer.
From today (28 November 2016), takeaway food businesses will be required to publish a statement on certain hard copy publicity materials, reminding customers they can check the food hygiene rating of the business.
Saturday 3 December is Small Business Saturday, a day to celebrate independent retailers of the local high street.
Wales International Documentary Festival (WIDF) will launch the WIDF Digital Learning Centre at Blackwood Miners’ Institute next week (28 to 30 November).
