The Autism Directory is a website dedicated to helping families and individuals find autism related resources in their local area and beyond. 

Autism Aware Organisations

Here you will find a directory of organisations who have completed the Autism Aware scheme in Caerphilly borough. Such as local supermarkets, schools and play centres.

The Supporting People Team can also offer support if you are struggling to keep your home, at risk of losing your job, need to move or need help with your finances or any type of debt.

National autism policies

Welsh Government has set out guidance and duties for local councils. These have an impact on local support services.

Rights and advocacy

For more information around advocacy for children, young people or parent/carers and you feel the need for advocacy support.

Children & Young People Advocacy

This is a confidential, independent issue-based advocacy service. It supports children and young people by helping them to have their voice heard.

The project works on a 1:1 basis to enable the child, or young person to promote their views, wishes, and feelings. This can help them get something stopped, started or changed.

Parent Advocacy

This is a confidential, independent service for parents. It helps parents to have their voice heard. The project works on a 1:1 basis.

The service can help parents resolve a range of issues. This may include making changes, engaging with support services and navigating systems.

There are also some local organisations/charities that maybe be able to support autistic people to have a voice, and to express their views, wishes and feelings.
