>Blackwood Miners' Institute will be transported back to the 'swinging 60's' next month, when The Bootleg Sixties rocks into town!
Friday 1st April at 7.30pm will see one of the best 60's shows around; The Bootleg Sixties come to town, with a fabulous musical journey through the greatest decade in musical history, the 60's.
Featuring The Overtures, a band described by Sir Elton John as 'the best band of their kind in the world" and by Lionel Ritchie as 'absolutely fantastic', this unique sight and sound show will take you right back!
Not only will The Overtures play some of the classic hits from the era including hits by The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Elvis, The Who, The Doors and many more, but the musical journey throughout the 60's will also recreate the atmosphere of the time with film footage and over 1000 images of fashion, bands, ads and graphics to form a unique two-hour show.
After a hugely successful debut UK tour in 2010, The Bootleg Sixties is very much back by popular demand. If you love 60's music and everything else about that era, this is an absolute must-see show!
