TeachMeet Caerphilly

The first Caerphilly 'TeachMeet' which focussed on improving learners skills through ICT.

NGfL Cymru were very happy to be invited by Debbie Harteveld to help organise Caerphilly's first Teachmeet. They were overwhelmed by the response from teachers and couldn't believe the turnout on the night with over 100 teachers present and over twenty five teachers willing to share their ideas.

Your passion and dedication are very much appreciated, and we are sure that through sharing with each other in this way you are helping to raise standards and enhance the learning experiences of all children in your LA. Just wanted to say WOW what a fantastic evening last night was.It was great to see all the wonderful ideas and great activities being delivered by teachers across all age ranges and the obvious benefits to all pupils in terms of impact on raising standards in literacy, key skills, their confidence and self esteem.Many thanks to all, just one question…… when will the next one be ?!!! We should spread the word to other schools who were not able to attend last night for them to be involved next time.'
