Over 11,000 people have visited Blackwood Miners Institute over the last few weeks to enjoy a fun-filled performance of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs starring Mike Doyle.
Amongst the many families who have attended the panto were the winners of Caerphilly county borough councils 'Get Active' initiative. As part of the prize, the Carrington's from Penpedairheol are enjoying a year-long programme of events and activities to become more physically and culturally active.
Nicola Carrington said, "We had a fantastic evening at Blackwood Miners Institute and the children thoroughly enjoyed Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. We will be attending more pantomimes in the future as the children enjoyed it so much they are still talking about 'Muddles and 'Nurse Tydfil' who totally captivated them."
Pinocchio will be showing at Blackwood Miners Institute on the 8th of April. The show is a combination of puppetry, shadows, illusion and specially composed music to create a show with something for all ages - It is inventive, visually and verbally witty with a big heart.
