Are you aged 8 - 16 years old and interested in dancing and having fun with new friends this half term? Blackwood Miners' Institute are offering young people the chance to take part in a four-day dance school this half term holiday from Tuesday 27th to Friday 30th May. No previous dance experience necessary.
The theme for this year is Welcome to my World /Big Brother, it will be a mixed media dance piece including jazz, contemporary and street dance with specially commissioned music.
Those who take part in this dance school will also have the opportunity to perform at the 2008 Caerphilly Community Dance showcase at Blackwood Miners' Institute on 7th and 8th July.
Skilled and experienced dance practitioners Gina Morgan and Katherine Hewer will teach the school with assistance from Louise Preece.
The school costs £20 for the four days.
You will be required to attend:
- Tuesday 27th May - 10:00am to 4:00pm
- Wednesday 28th May - 10:00am to 4:00pm
- Thursday 29th May - 10:00am to 4:00pm
- Friday 30th May - 11:00am to 4:00pm
