Visitors to Caerphilly town centre won't find a better variety of produce on a king's platter when they hear what's on offer on Saturday 26th May! Caerphilly Food Festival will be full to bursting with everything needed for a jam packed day of family fun!!

Following on from the Welsh Government's confirmation of funding towards the NEW food festival, the event is pulling out all the stops to ensure that there are tasty treats and flavoursome foods to tickle those taste buds! From cookery demonstrations, to plenty of food stalls to stock your cupboards, this food festival is going to be a real feast for the family.

Try and buy, watch and learn, participate and enjoy, that's what the day is all about with cookery demonstrations and talks, food stalls, food crafts, mad chefs, walking and talking eggs as well as some other bizarre food related street theatre!

The day certainly promises to bring a bustling food fayre to town, as local producers and demonstrators display their wares. Sizzling sounds and delicious smells will fill the air with lots of other entertainment for the children including craft workshops, drumming workshops, animal displays and activities, face painting, brass bands and so much more.

The Food Festival is part of the Taste of Caerphilly weekend, which includes the annual Flower Festival weekend, which brings bright and beautiful plants to Caerphilly from 25th-27th May, and the Olympic Torch Relay, which will take place on Saturday 26th May.
