>The Sports Development team from Caerphilly county borough council will be hosting an Olympic Sports Village next Saturday (26th May) which will include exhilarating performances from unique and exciting urban entertainers.
The Olympic Village and the performances from SBX entertainment coincide with the much-anticipated Olympic Torch Relay, which will make its way through Caerphilly from approximately 9.42am.
SBX is the UK and Europe's leading urban entertainment brand, featuring urban sports stars from the world of Basketball, Football, BMX, Skateboard, MCs/Beat Boxing, Free Running, Street Dance and Break Dancing.
The individuals who will perform on the day include Guinness World Record holders, a Got to Dance finalist, a Pro Skateboarder and many more.
The team will perform two half-an-hour live shows during the day, which will be followed by skills academies, giving the spectators an opportunity to have a go at the tricks and skills they have seen.
Developed around the best urban sport stars from the world of, SBX is a truly unique urban entertainment experience that cannot be seen anywhere else in the world.
Alongside this exciting and energetic experience, the council will be hosting an array of other activities, from the annual Flower Festival and Caerphilly's first Food Festival, to the Blue Peter Big Olympic Tour.
