Honour our heroes - past and present. Join the Mayor and attend one of the services of remembrance this weekend.
- Blackwood Cenotaph, Pentwyn Road – Sunday 14th November. Assemble at 10.45 a.m. for laying of wreaths at the cenotaph.
- Blackwood, Pontllanfraith Office – Saturday 13th November. Assemble at 1.30 p.m. for laying of wreaths at the cenotaph followed by service at St Augustine's Church.
- Caerphilly Town Centre – Sunday 14th November. Assemble 2.15 p.m. at St Martin's Church for parade to cenotaph.
- Machen, St John's Church – Sunday 14th November. Assemble at Machen car park for parade to church. Service at 10.45 a.m. and laying of wreaths following service.
- Maesycwmmer Community Garden – Sunday 14th November. Assemble at the Community Garden, The Crescent, Maesycwmmer for service followed by laying of wreaths.
- Oakdale War Memorial – Sunday 14th November. Assemble at Oakdale Post Office at 10.40 a.m. for parade to war memorial and laying of wreaths.
- Rhydygwern, St James Church, Rudry – Saturday 13th November. Assemble outside the Griffin Inn at
10.45 a.m. for parade to Rudry Cenotaph for laying of wreath.
- Risca Town Centre - Sunday 14th November. Assemble at Rifle Street at 10am for 10.30am march to Risca Cenotaph. Service starts at 11am.
- Bedwas Town Centre - Sunday 14th November. Assemble at Bedwas Social Club at 10.40am. Service at Cenotaph at 10.50am.
- Llanbradach - Sunday 14th November. Parade gathers in the central car park at 10.20am to march to cenotaph at approx 10.30am.
- Nelson - Sunday 14th November. St. John's Church, High Street, Nelson. Service at 10am followed by parade to Memorial and Service there at 11.00am.
- Cefn Fforest - Sunday 14th November. Service at St Thomas Church at 10am followed by laying of wreaths at Cenotaph at 10.50am.
- Fleur-de-lys - Sunday 14th November. Meeting 10.30am by the Fleur de Lis community centre in the High Street.
- New Tredegar - Sunday 14th November. Service at New Tredegar Cenotaph at 10.45am.
- Brithdir - Sunday 14th November. Service at Brithdir Cenotaph at 11am.
- Tirphil - Sunday 14th November. Service starts at 10.15am.
- Newbridge - Sunday 14th November. Start Parry's square 10.20am. March off 10.30am to St Paul's by 10.45am service in St Paul's. Small service outside and wreath laying. Tea laid on in Memo after.
Aberbargoed - Sunday 14th November. Service 10.15am at Hills Community Church, Commercial St, Aberbargoed. War Memorial at 10.45am for the laying of the wreathes. 2 minutes silence, followed by refreshments back at the Church.
