>Get into the Christmas spirit with a night at the movies at the 'Stute next month... a perfect Christmas work night out!
Join the Cardiff Philharmonic Orchestra, introduced and conducted by Michael Bell for a Christmas Night at the Movies at Blackwood Miners' Institute on Thursday 1st December at 7.30pm for an impressive mix of stirring and inspiration movies from across the decades.
From Harry Potter, Oliver and Ben-Hur through to Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines, The Godfather, Lawrence of Arabia, Robin Hood and even The Lion King – there is something for everyone!
It's something of a homecoming for the Cardiff Philharmonic Orchestra... since 1994 they have performed their annual series of film music concerts at venues throughout South Wales, but the debut performance was at the 'Stute in January 1994.
Blackwood Miners' Institute is delighted to welcome Michael and the Cardiff Philharmonic Orchestra back to thrill family audiences once again this year!
Tickets costs £12 and £11 for concessions. A family ticket costs £34.
