The Newbridge Regeneration Scheme is now well underway with re-alignment and improvement works due to start to one of the town centre's key junctions - High Street with Tynewydd Terrace.
Residents and motorists are advised that temporary three way traffic lights will be in place at the junction of High Street and Tynewydd Terrace from 6 June 2012 for approximately 6 weeks, to enable the construction of the re-aligned lay-out.
The Council and Alun Griffiths (Contractors) Ltd wish to apologise for any inconvenience the traffic lights may cause, but they are necessary to ensure the safety of road users and the workforce during the works.
Newbridge town centre will remain open for business throughout the regeneration works.
