Getting Undressed in South Wales Again!

    24 February 2012

    State of Undress

Rocky, rootsy, fiddlesome band, State of Undress bring their unique and exuberant brand of original music back to Blackwood Miners Institute on Friday 2nd March at 8.00pm.

They first played the 'Stute some 18 months ago. Since then, the band has travelled from Cornwall to Scotland and from London to Ireland, meeting with a warm response and critical acclaim along the way.

As well as playing all across the country, State of Undress have been busy in the studio, recording their new album Journeys of the Heart - due for release on Monday 2nd April - which beautifully embodies their blend of roots, rock, and country music with Celtic flavourings. They'll be performing many of the tracks from their new CD at their Blackwood Miners gig, in a live performance fuelled with compelling energy and a lung-busting joie-de-vivre.

State of Undress provides a feisty, fun and passionate evening of music at Blackwood Miners' Institute on Friday 2nd March at 8.00pm. Tickets cost just £8.00 and are available from the 'Stute's Box Office on 01495 227206 or online at www.blackwoodminersinstitute.com
