Residents across the area can now vote on their favourite attraction in the South Wales Valleys.
The Valleys Heart and Soul campaign has been working with Rough Guide author Mike Parker to create a list of the Top 50 Valleys Essentials, which includes must-see heritage attractions, unmissable eateries and events and scenic walks across The Valleys.
Llancaiach Fawr Manor, The Big Cheese, Gelligaer Common, Cwmcarn Forest, Eglwysilan Church, Parc Penallta, Ruperra Castle and Caerphilly Castle have been chosen by Mike Parker as part of the Top 50 Valleys Essentials!
The next part of our campaign is to encourage people in Wales to vote for their favourite from Mike Parker's Top 50 unranked list on www.thevalleys.co.uk/top-50 to determine the ultimate Top 10 Valleys Essentials, which will then be used in a UK wide marketing campaign to promote The Valleys as a top tourism destination for 2011.
