People living in Risca will get the chance to cast their vote this week and have their say about the creation of two new Community Councils in the area.
The ballot will take place on Thursday 5th July and voters will be asked if they think Community Councils should be established to serve the Risca East and Risca West areas of the town.
Voting will take place between 4:00pm and 9:00pm at 8 polling stations within the area. Letters have been sent to all eligible votes advising them of their nearest polling station.
