Cwmcarn High will be closed today (Friday 30th January) due to a sudden bereavement.
Headteacher, Mrs J.A.Peplinski, said, "It is with deepest regret that I must inform you that Mrs Tyler has passed away. She was a wonderful member of staff and will be sadly missed. The Leadership Team and Governing Body have decided to close the school today as a mark of respect. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mrs Tyler's family and close friends at this sad time."
The school will open as normal on Monday, 2nd February.
