Traditional Skills & Rural Craft Show at Llancaiach Fawr Manor

    Easter Sunday 12th & Easter Monday 13th April 2009

    This Easter, take a trip down memory lane with a range of traditional activities for all ages. Experience 17th Century life in the Manor House, as well as displays and demonstrations by traditional craftworkers.

    Activities in the Manor include , butter & bread making, traditional remedies, embroidery and lace making. In the grounds and surrounding buildings you can experience lovespoon carving, bee-keeping, traditional dry stonewalling, felt making, silk & wool spinning, needlecrafts and more!

    The Artisans & Merchants of Sir John Myddelton's Companie, a medieval reenactment group will also be joining us, demonstrating a range of fascinating medieval crafts and activities, including fletching arrows, blacksmithing, brewing and candlemaking.
