Walk In Caerphilly

    01 April 2009

Walkers will get the chance to enjoy scenic countryside views as part of a special event taking place in the Cwmcarn area next month.

Caerphilly county borough council's Countryside Service is offering a challenge to walkers of all abilities on Saturday May 9th at Cwmcarn Forest Drive.

There are routes of 12 miles, for the fitter and more experienced walkers and 6.5 miles for people who are just wishing to escape for a few hours.

The walks will lead participants across the spectacular valleys landscape of the county borough, through woodland, farmland and across open moorland.

Walkers will be treated to some fantastic views towards the Brecon Beacons National Park over Cardiff Bay and the Bristol Channel.
