A local pupil is jumping for joy after winning £30 of sports vouchers after entering a competition on Caerphilly County Borough Council's 'My School Lunch' website.
Kallum Jones from Cwmcarn Primary was congratulated by the Catering Services' mascot Cati the Croc and his fellow pupils at a special assembly held at the school this week.
During the assembly the children were given a presentation about the My School Lunch website and Healthy Food Trainer Cheryl Barge also spoke about the importance of being healthy and eating five portions of fruit and vegetables a day.
Following a game session on the My School Lunch website, involving all the teachers and children, the children then sang a song to welcome Cati to their school.
