If you fancy a day out with the family this weekend, head to Heolddu Leisure Centre in Bargoed to enjoy a bit of fun.
Since the beginning of January the centre is offering entertaining activity sessions for the whole family. The weekly sessions take place on Sunday afternoons between 2:30pm - 4:30pm, when families can enjoy a pleasant swim together, followed by a pool fun hour with floats and 'Walk the plank'.
For those families who prefer dryside activities, a visit to the centre sports hall for a game of badminton, short tennis, squash or football might be more appealing, or why not bounce the afternoon away on the big bouncy castle?
A family fun day session cost £2.50/person or £10 for a family of five.
