>It's time for the next instalment of the ever-popular 'Stute Comedy Night, with the line up being announced for the October show!
Friday 7th October at 8pm will see three top comedians from the UK comedy circuit take to the stage at Blackwood Miners' Institute for an evening of fun and entertainment... and tickets are selling fast!
Headlining the show will be award-winning stand up comedian Diane Spencer. A storyteller with punchlines, Diane simultaneously delights and repulses her audience, allowing her charming onstage persona to bely her refreshingly honest, rude and wicked ideas.
"...She could be the female Jim Jefferies, with an honesty and humility that makes her abject embarrassment riotously hilarious..." – 4 Stars, Chortle.
Supporting will be the very funny Sully O'Sullivan, who is a brilliant improvisational comedian all the way from New Zealand. A multi-award winning headline act for a long time down under, he's now also making his hilarious presence felt on these shores too!
"...A wicked sense of humour..." BBC
Host for the evening will be Birmingham based comedian James Cook, whose act has been described as 'truly original' by Danny Wallace (off the telly!) where as he's been called 'suave and chirpy' by the world famous Bromsgrove Advertiser and a 'sarcastic raconteur' by the Leeds Metro.
His act mixes jokes and sarcasm with a quick wit and excellent improvisation skills that make him an accomplished compere.
Tickets for the 'Stute Comedy Night cost £7 in advance or £10 on the door, so why not book your tickets now and start next weekend as you mean to go on... in good company, having a laugh!
