Blackwood Miners' Institute has improved its service by now offering audiences the option to book their tickets online.
The modern consumer expects to be able to purchase goods and services over the Internet and this latest move by Blackwood Miners' Institute is to make sure that they meet their customer's needs and expectations.
The service was used in the first weekend of going live from website traffic alone without any promotion so early signs are good that the service will be well used and appreciated by Blackwood Miners' Institute's audiences.
The online service is fully integrated with the venue's ticketing system and offers customer's real-time ticketing transactions in a secure online environment.
The project has been made possible thanks to funding from the Arts Outside Cardiff scheme by the Arts Council of Wales, created in 2005 to focus on the long term development of designated Regional Performing Arts Centres across Wales. The Borough Theatre in Abergavenny and the Beaufort Theatre in Ebbw Vale will also be offering internet booking as part of this project.
