Pupils from Pontllanfraith Comprehensive School have been showing off their entrepreneurial skills, by selling their eco-friendly merchandise at Caerphilly County Borough Council's headquarters, Penallta House recently.

Year 10 pupils Scott Browne, Shane Higginson and Kerry Harris have ventured into the field of eco merchandise, most notably eco friendly shopping bags – they are being mentored by Business Development Manager Sophia Ali of Gwent Hospitals Contributory Fund.

Council Staff were keen to support the endeavours of the teenage tycoons. In addition to the eco shopper bags, environmentally friendly stationery was soaring off the stall, adding well deserved funds to their pot.

Natural salesmen, they would have made Lord Sugar proud with the numbers of products sold through their hard work and determination!
