Last year there was excitement, nerves, tears - and that was just the staff! One year on and we are ready to do it all over again as Caerphilly's Got Talent gets even bigger for 2009!
Have you got what it takes to entertain an audience? If you can dance, sing, act, do magic, play music, or make us laugh, we would love to meet you!
Auditions will take place at the following places and times:
- The Great Hall at Caerphilly Castle (at the Big Cheese Festival) on Saturday 25th July 2009 between 9:00am and 1:00pm
- Caerphilly Leisure Centre on Saturday 1st August 2009 between 10:00am and 4:00pm
- Blackwood Miners' Institute on Saturday 8th August 2009 between 10:00am and 4:00pm
Please note that some acts may not be suitable to audition at the Big Cheese such as large dance groups or acts bringing certain equipment with them. Please e-mail bmi@caerphilly.gov.uk in advance for advice on this.
The competition is the biggest talent search to be staged in the Caerphilly County Borough. The competition is open to individuals and groups of all ages but you must live or work in the Caerphilly County Borough to qualify for entry. Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult. The final will take place at Blackwood Miners' Institute on Sunday 13th September with celebrity judges and prizes to be won!
