Milly Powell, a pupil at Derwendeg Primary School in Cefn Hengoed, entered an online competition at home only to win a Welsh rugby jacket.

Caerphilly County Borough Council's Catering Service runs competitions each term aimed at primary school pupils on their website, asking a diverse range of questions. During the Spring Term, 4 year-old Milly answered the question, why do you like living in Wales, with "I like to watch my Daddy play rugby for the Capital of Wales - Cardiff."

In the midst of a recent assembly, special visitors arrived at the school in the form of Cati the Croc the catering school meals mascot and Cheryl Barge Healthy Food Trainer. Cati and Cheryl presented a surprised Milly with a certificate and the prize. Cheryl spoke to the pupils about healthy eating and how to enter competitions to win exciting prizes! The pupils also participated in some of the interactive learning games available on the website.
