Celebrate Christmas at the Winding House in New Tredegar this December with a host of FREE, festive, fun events every weekend.
Explore Christmas through the ages at our Mincepies and Mistletoe events, on Saturday 3rd, 10th and 17th December. How was Christmas celebrated in the past and where do our own traditions come from? Find out with lots of seasonal games, crafts and activities, perfect to get you into the Yuletide spirit! There's no need to book – just drop-in each Saturday between 10am and 5pm to join in the festive fun!The historic Winding Engine will also be in action at 12pm and 3pm on Saturday 3rd December.
And why not join us every Sunday afternoon for a classic family Christmas film? Festive Films will be showing on Sunday 4th, 11th and 18th December at 2pm. The Christmas classics begin on Sunday 4th December with "The Muppets Christmas Carol", followed by the original 1947 version of "Miracle on 34th Street" on 11th December and "Santa Claus: the Movie" on 18th December.
