>An exciting new exhibition has been officially opened at the Winding House Museum in New Tredegar by much-loved comedian and entertainer, Stan Stennett.
The exhibition, entitled 'Pictures and The Stute - Nights out in the Valleys' promises to take visitors back in time to the golden era of entertainment, exploring local dance halls, institutes and the Picture-house.
You can try out some fancy footwork, discover how to act on a 1950s date and settle into the back row of the pictures!
With 'sounds of the Stute' listening stations, interactive games, a recreated picture palace and fascinating objects - many on loan from local people - there is plenty to see, do and explore. So put on your glad rags, get your toes tapping and come along to find out more!
The exhibition is open until Spring 2012, Tuesdays-Sundays 10am-5pm and admission is FREE!
