>Caerphilly county borough council is looking for help to identify sites and faces from Risca's past?
During this month's Adult Learner's Week (9th – 16th May), Risca Library is hosting a display of historic photographs, representing the Risca area during the 1930s.
The photos, from the David Wills collection, are of the Risca locality but have no identifying labels. Risca Library staff would like local people to help name the places in photographs that will be on display at the library.
To link in with the history theme, there will also be a talk on 'Local History Research' by author Ewart Smith. The talk will take place at the library on Monday 11th May at 3:00pm. Entry is free and everyone is welcome.
Anyone interested in going along to Risca Library and help identify the photos, please call the library on 01633 600920.
