Blackwood Miners' Institute has recently launched a page on the popular social networking site Facebook, allowing people to keep up to date with productions and events going on throughout the year.
With the increase in popularity of using social networking sites to keep the community informed of local developments, the 'Stute is one of a growing trend choosing to promote themselves in this way.
Nigel and Neville, the sheep featured in Gren's much loved cartoons, are helping to promote BMI's social media activities alongside Caerphilly County Borough Council's wider social networking sites.
