The countdown is on to this year's Bargoed Carnival, which promises to be another fun filled day out for all the family.
This year's Bargoed Carnival will take place this Saturday 11th June at Heolddu Playing Fields, Bargoed between 12noon and 7pm.
This fun summer event will feature a live music stage, a funfair, children's activities, food, a licensed bar and much more. There will also be a variety of food and craft stalls, selling items including fudge, jewellery, bags, African crafts,homemade cakes, gem stones, smoked meats and real ale.
The Bargoed Carnival will coincide with the official unveiling of the brand new Bargoed bus station, which at 11am on Saturday 11th June. To celebrate the opening and encourage residents and visitors to take greener forms of transport, a free shuttle bus service will operate between the new bus station and the Bargoed Carnival site between 11.45am and 5pm.
