Residents from Phillipstown and the surrounding areas are being invited to come along to a Community Safety Information Day to be held next week.
The event is being held on Thursday 13th May from 10am until 4pm at Phillipstown Community House.
A number of organisations, including Gwent Police, the Safer Caerphilly Community Safety Partnership and Caerphilly County Borough Council, will be on hand to talk to and advise residents about issues such as home safety, crime prevention, youth activity provision, anti-social behaviour and alcohol and other substance misuse.
There will also be an opportunity for residents to talk to Caerphilly county borough's Victims Champion, Lana Harrison, to find out about the help and support that is available to victims and witnesses of anti-social behaviour.
Caerphilly County Borough Council's Community Safety Wardens will also be on hand to discuss any community safety related issues that residents may have.
Cllr Lyn Ackerman, cabinet member for the environment said, "This event will provide an excellent opportunity for residents to come along and find out more on a variety of community safety issues, and discuss any issues they may have with a wide range of organisations, all under one roof."
This event aims to follow on from last year's CANDO (Community and Neighbourhood Directed Operation) held in Phillipstown, and aims to encourage residents to come forward to discuss any community safety related concerns they have.
