No sun this summer? No clue how to amuse the kids? No worries!
Children in Caerphilly county borough won't have time to be bored this summer, with an action packed six week holiday ahead of them!
Gwent Association of Voluntary Organisations (GAVO) and the Family Information Service have combined the various fun filled family activities throughout Caerphilly into an easy read booklet.
Whatever your child's interest, there are a host of activities to get involved in; with creative art and craft workshops, hands-on history exhibitions, and Olympic themed sporting sessions. Activities available include: -
- Summer schemes at a number of leisure centres.
- Events at Cwmcarn Forest Drive.
- Free swims and pool activities.
- Events at Parc Cwm Darran.
- Story sessions at local libraries.
- Events and exhibitions at The Winding House.
- Family fun days.
- Events at Llancaiach Fawr.
