Business Support On the Road Again

    22 May 2012

    Grants for business

Caerphilly County Borough Council's Business Enterprise Support and Rural Development Teams will once again be bringing their business support to a location near you. The next business roadshow takes place at Sainsbury's Car Park, Newbridge Road Industrial Estate in Pontllanfraith next Wednesday (30th May) between 10am-2pm.

The season of business roadshows has already commenced and the first roadshow at Tredomen Park attracted over twenty local business owners who had the chance to speak first hand to the support teams about the packages of help that are available to them.

Over the next couple of months the roadshows will be visiting industrial estates throughout the borough from Risca to Aberbargoed and Caerphilly. Local entrepreneurs and businesses are welcome to call in to any of the roadshows to find out more about the range of support that is available.

Jan Bennett, Group Manager of the Business Enterprise Support Team, said, "The business roadshows enable our team to bring business support directly to local businesses throughout the county borough. In 2011, when we ran a similar programme of roadshows, over 130 businesses benefitted from our support in helping them start up or grow."

Support ranges from funding for capital equipment through to help with ICT and can be applied for whether the business is starting up or growing, rural or industrial. The teams will be on site between 10.00 am and 2.00 pm. All funding is discretionary and eligibility criteria apply.
