Following the success of the Sports that Works Programme, the Upper Rhymney Valley Communities First Team will be running a "Hospitality That Works" 10 week course, aimed at those seeking employment in catering and hospitality.

The programme is open to Job Seekers aged between 16-24 and will run 2 days per week for ten weeks, after which 8 week catering work placements within CCBC will be offered to those who have shown impeccable commitment to the programme.

The programme gives the participants the opportunity to address any basic skills issues, offer the opportunity to gain valuable work experience, and more importantly - a reference, the programme will also include a martial arts workshop designed to focus the mind and channel energies positively, another important skill needed in the work place.

The programme will run at the Whiterose IRC, New Tredegar with possible additional venues across the Upper Rhymney Valley; transport to additional events will be provided. Participants will only need to make their way to the Whiterose IRC, New Tredegar.
