>Join the team at Cwmcarn Forest Drive on April 1st for a wonderful guided walk.
The nine mile walk takes in the beauty of the Monmouthshire and Brecon canal, passing alongside memorials to lost miners, stunning woodland and ancient iron hill fortresses. It's a good day's walk, with some steep ascents and descents, so requires sturdy footwear and waterproof clothing.
The walk begins at 10am and booking is essential.
And don't forget your much needed sustenance in the form of a packed lunch and a hot flask! On return to the centre after the walk, you will be greeted with a hot cuppa and a cupcake.
For more information or to book a place on the walk, please go to www.cwmcarnforest.co.uk or call Cwmcarn Visitor Centre on 01495 272 001.
