>Blackwood High Street will be bursting with fun for the whole family next weekend (Saturday 30th June - Sunday 1st July 2012) as the successful Summer Festival hits the town for its second year.
Last year traders, funfair rides, music, dance and children's costumed characters all took to the high street delivering a fun packed family themed event, which attracted thousands of visitors. Due to the massive success its back again for 2012, bringing with it bigger and better attractions for all ages.
Children and the young at heart will be descending on the town centre to meet up with some of TV's most popular children characters, who will be on hand to entertain the masses.
Thrown into the mix will be some high quality children's funfair rides, music, street entertainment, food and craft stalls as well as Punch and Judy, children's workshops and face painting.
The Summer Festival will take place between 9am and 5pm on Saturday 30th June and between 10am and 4pm on Sunday 1st July.
