Inspired by the ITV hit TV show Britain’s Got Talent, Caerphilly’s Got Talent is the biggest talent search to be staged in the Caerphilly County Borough.  Now in it’s exciting third year, who will be the 2010 winner?  The final will be judged by a local celebrity panel with top prizes to be won.

50th Anniversary Twinning Celebrations

Friends old and new will come together to help celebrate the 50th anniversary of Caerphilly county borough being twinned with the City of Ludwigsburg in Germany at this spectacular evening concert event.

Music has been at the heart of bringing the two nations together over the past 50 years, and guests will be treated to a series of outstanding musical performances from local choirs and musicians and a brass ensemble direct from Ludwigsburg to help celebrate these friendships.

On National Poetry Day Mike Church will be “at home” to host the grand finale of the Head for Arts poetry competition, taking “Home” as our inspiration. Cash prizes for the winning poems (English and Welsh) plus an open mic session and special guests.
