The sounds of Burt Bacharach Tour 2010
It's difficult to think of anyone else who has delivered musical goods as impeccably and consistently as Burt Bacharach. This production, created by Chris Dean, offers up sunny classics that bring memories from four decades. Bacharach’s exquisite arrangements show us why he is one of the truly great tunesmiths of the past century, with such a gold mine of music, each and every song is a timeless hit.
Walk on by, The look of love, Raindrops keep falling on my head, Alfie and many many more. Set these songs along side the most accomplished musicians and singers add some sophisticated choreography and you have a stylish show that promises a heart-stopping and pulse-quickening evening.

Forever in Blue Jeans
Back by popular demand, this lively show returns to Blackwood where the star of the show is the show itself! Enjoy listening to all the 50's & 60’s Rock ‘N’ Roll favourites from Jerry Lee Lewis, Brenda Lee, Bill Haley & Connie Francis plus many, many more. Plus great Country songs from The Carpenters, “The King” Elvis Presley make an appearance and Cliff Richard & The Shadows pop in too!
This perfect feast of entertainment also features popular West End favourites and song writing classics from Burt Bacharach. The terrific Red Hot Blue Jeans Band perform stunning instrumentals and the show ends with everyone invited to the party for the Grand Finale.

Beth Jeans Houghton
Beth Jeans Houghton has been playing guitar since the age of 16. She’s only 19 now. In the meantime, she’s supported Tunng and Tinariwen, hobnobbed with Vetiver, John Martyn, Bon Iver and Joanna Newsome and recorded a single, Golden/Nightswimmer with Adem.
Hot Toast Vol 1 is the latest release from the Newcastle singer who, to paraphrase The Guardian, joins the dots between Gwen Stefani and Vashti Bunyan.
Following the acclaimed single Golden, this release introduces Beth’s band, The Hooves Of Destiny. In no particular order, they are Dav ‘Lego’ Shiel on keys, Rory ‘Grove’ Gibson on lefty bass and Findlay ‘Vivian’ Euan Nimmo MaCaskill on violin.

One of the biggest shows of its kind in the UK, taking you on a breathtaking musical journey from the good old days of Music Hall, through the 40's, 50's, 60's, and finally into the some of the beautiful harmonies of the 1970's.
Beautifully costumed and choreographed for each decade, performed by 'West End' and international vocalists, along with the stunning 'Memory Lane' dancers.
