Christmas is coming and Caerphilly County Borough Council has organised a number of exciting events to get everyone in the festive spirit including Wales' largest Christmas and Medieval Market and the River of Light lantern parade in Caerphilly town centre.

The ever-popular Owen Money Theatre Company return to Blackwood Miners’ with Jack and the Beanstalk featuring Mike Doyle as Jack.

There will be a Santa's Grotto at Cwmcarn Forest Drive, various activities at Llancaiach Fawr Manor and other local venues across the county borough.

Fee-Fi-Fo-Fum, I can smell festive fun! The ever-popular Owen Money Theatre Company return to Blackwood Miners’ Institute this Christmas with more festive fun filled entertainment for all the family! Mike Doyle stars as the Jack in this magical adventure story, which has entertained generations of families. Magic beans, a castle in the clouds, a golden hen, a singing harp and a Giant are all the makings of an exciting panto! Expect laughter, musical numbers, and of course masses of audience participation that keeps audiences coming back for more!
