The Chronicle Collection is an easy to use online search facility that provides you with access to search the entire Caerphilly Library Catalogue and Caerphilly Museums Archive to discover the wide range of fascinating objects, books, images, artefacts, digital stories and much more relating to the history of Caerphilly County Borough.

There are currently 3,600 collections of historic significance to the county housed by the library and museum services. 12,000 items have been catalogued to date and this collection will continue to grow through a targeted digitisation project.

This service will allow you to:-

  • Browse if you are interested in a particular subject.
  • Search for specific items that Caerphilly Library Service has in stock and reserve them free of charge with your Caerphilly Library Card.
  • Search for specific items that Caerphilly Museums Service has in storage and contact them with the relevant Record ID number to request to see them on a site visit.
