New Trim Trail gives exercise a leg-up!
Bargoed Country Park now offers the chance for visitors to get in shape and experience the great outdoors at the same time, whether you’re a fitness fanatic, or if you have not done a great deal of exercise, the trim trail at Bargoed country Park is the place to try.
The fitness trail can be found behind the ambulance station in the north of the park, and is bright blue and yellow, so there is no chance to walk past and miss it, and there is even an information point that explains how to use each stage of the course.
The trail has been created by Mentro Allan and is free for anyone to use. Site warden Ross Jones hopes that groups and visitors to the park will try out the trim trail, then explore the rest of the park to see if they can spot some of the fantastic wildlife that lives in Caerphilly County. So don’t be shy, get fit in our fantastic countryside.
