Helping hands from the Flood Risk Management Team

A huge thank you to the Flood Risk Management Team from The Environment Agency, Cardiff. The enthusiastic team gave up their time to help out in the new Junior Rangers Nature Garden at Parc Penallta. The garden now boasts some raised beds for the children to use as a tree nursery and for growing veggies. But the team didn’t stop there… they built three hibernacular benches which, not only provide a resting and viewing spot for hard working gardeners, but also a great habitat for all sorts of wildlife!
