Objective 1 - New Coarse Fishery

Penallta Community Park Fishing Lakes and Wildlife Corridor

This project will improve the country park to benefit locals, visitors, the rural economy and wildlife. The project will create a new coarse fishery from the old tip sedimentation lagoons. Access improvements will also be made from Griffiths Street in Ystrad Mynach to the new fishery. The project will also help us to manage water levels in the nearby Nelson Bog Site of Special Scientific Interest for the benefit of wildlife.
