The Early Years team works to ensure that there are high quality early years education and childcare places for all families in Caerphilly County Borough.

We are also responsible for the development of Early Years Education in schools, playgroups, private nurseries or childminders in both English and Welsh mediums.

We can:

• Help you find an early years education place if your child is aged 3 years of age.
• Help you to find childcare and advise you about the different types of childcare available.
• Assist you in taking your first steps if you are thinking of setting up a childcare business including becoming a registered childminder
• Offer you support, advice and training while you are becoming registered or if you are already a childcare provider.
• Offer you support, advice and training and tell you about jobs in childcare if you would like to work with children.
