Children Awaiting Placement

Toby is 10 years old and is currently in a short-term placement with a single female carer. Toby wants a 2 parent family where he can be happy and settled for the rest of his childhood. Toby loves DIY, pottering in the garden, Judo and Street Dancing.

Helen is 12 years old and came into foster care needing a long-term placement. Helen has witnessed domestic violence throughout her childhood and sadly her mother suddenly passed away. Helen's dad does not understand the impact these experiences have had on Helen and he is not able to meet her emotional needs. Helen needs a warm, loving home where she can feel supported in her grief and start to resolve her feelings of loss.

Emily is 12 years old and is in a short-term placement. Her younger sisters have been adopted which has deeply saddened her. Emily constantly blames herself for them being taken into care. Emily now needs long-term foster carers who can be understanding of this and support her with her feelings.
