Libraries across Caerphilly County Borough support learners of all ages and abilities.

If you are in School or Sixth Form College your local Library can help you with your homework through our wide range of books, FREE online resources, and computer facilities.

Your local library can also help and support you if you are undertaking other formal studies, for example, A Levels, HNC or simply interested in carrying out research for a hobby.

You can book a free taster session on how to access information and use the Internet through the 'Gateways to Learning' project and, if you are 16 or older complete a qualification for free in improving your information searching skills.

The Gwent area 'Public and Academic Library Catalogues' can be searched on the Gateways to Learning website.

To find out more about what you can expect as a learner from your local library download the document below.

You may need to download 'Adobe Acrobat Reader' to view   Learner Entitlements and Charter (pdf 25k)
