Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th August Kings WeekendHustle, bustle and preparations on Saturday followed by a Royal visit from His Majesty King Charles 1st on Sunday. Pomp, ceremony, the Kings Feast, militia encampment and displays.
Wednesdays 11th and 18th August 11am – 4pm. I’m bored – what can I do?Is this a problem for you during the school summer holidays? Do you have 5 – 12 year old children? Bring them to Llancaiach for a range of sports, games and craft activities. Cost £3.75 per child, adults free. No unaccompanied children or adults.

Bank Holiday Monday 30th August Barking Mad Dog ShowAnnual show organised in conjunction with Hope Rescue. Fun show classes, dog agility, animal charity stalls, Good Citizen awards for dogs, pet photographer and more. www.hoperescue.org.uk
Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th September Rural Skills Show & Harvest CelebrationsSheep dog demonstration, sheep shearing, hedging, drystone walling, threshing, winnowing, spinning, natural dyes. Harvest Festival service on Sunday. Ghost Tour SeasonDetails to be confirmed.
Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd October Antiques Fair organised by Amber Fairs.A wide range of antiques and collectables will be on sale in the Barn and Education Centre. Admission free.
Half term: Monday 25th to Friday 29th October WitchesWitchcraft and superstition played a large part in 17th century life. To celebrate Hallowe’en we will be holding Witch trials in the Manor House and offering a wide range of associated craft activities for children in the Education Centre. Included in entry fees to Manor or, for craft activities only, £3.75 per child.
Sunday 31st October Hallowe’en 7.30pm Psychic Evening with Jan Lloyd. 9.00pm Ghost Tour of the Manor House. 10.30pm Ghost Tour of the Manor House. CHRISTMAS 2010Saturday 27th November Ffair Nadolig / Christmas Fair Organised by Menter Iaith Caerffili. Christmas Carvery lunch in the Conservatory Menu and prices to follow. Ghost Tours Details and price to follow. Storytelling in the Manor House Normal admission prices apply. Christmas activities for children in the Education Centre. Price £3.75 per child Christmas Carvery lunch at 12pm and 2pm Menu and prices to follow. Ghostwatch Must be pre-booked. Carols on the CourtyardOur annual celebration of Christmas with music and song. FREE OUTDOOR EVENT. Will go ahead rain or shine. Wrap up warm, bring a lantern or torch and your own chair.
