All Hallows Eve
With our reputation for being one of the most haunted houses in the country, Hallowe’en is always popular at Llancaiach!
This year the Childrens Party attracted 120 assorted ghouls, ghosties and beasties to enjoy the disco, competitions, games and activities (and we think the staff looked scariest of all!)
A new departure for us was the Evening of Clairvoyance with Alan Thomas of Merthyr Tydfil who is a medium and spiritual healer. Over 120 people packed the Education Centre and visitors comments on their experience were so positive that we are trying to arrange a similar evening for Spring 2008. The date will appear on the Events pages as soon as it is confirmed.
Finally – it wouldn’t be Hallowe’en if we didn’t have Ghost Tours. This year it was just two – one at 10pm and another which started at 11.30pm and ran across the ‘witching hour’ of midnight until 1am. Enjoyed by all.
Autumn Wedding Fayre
‘Keep it local’ was the theme for our second Wedding Fair which featured a wide range of bridal and wedding services from suppliers based in this area.
Comments from prospective brides and exhibitors were very complimentary so, if you are planning a Wedding or Civil Partnership Ceremony for late 2008 onwards, the next opportunity to ‘keep it local at Llancaiach’ is at the Spring Wedding Fair on Sunday 10th February. |
